While a frame is not required, we highly recommend it, even if you don’t buy from us. Framing helps to hold the map together and prevents any loss of adhesion between the layers that may happen over time. We offer seven different prefabricated frame options, and occasionally restock our handmade exotic hardwood frames for an extra cost.
